What is the weather like in Lake Tahoe in June?

June is a beautiful time in Lake Tahoe! You can expect day time temperatures in the mid to high 70s and evening temperatures in the 50s. Please bring a jacket or shawl as the temperature does drop at night.

Are the ceremony and reception in the same location?

Yes! The wedding ceremony and reception will be at Martis Camp.

Will transportation be provided on the wedding day?

We are providing transportation for all guests from the ceremony to reception.

Upon arrival at the Martis Camp Main Gate, security will verify your name and direct you to guest parking at the Family Barn.

Shuttles

• Depart every 10 minutes starting at 2:45 PM

• Last shuttle departs at 3:15 PM

• Look for the white Northstar Resort buses marked "Colin / DeFranco Wedding"

• Shuttle ride is less than 5 minutes

Should I rent a car?

Yes, we highly recommend it! You will need a rental car to explore all that Lake Tahoe has to offer.

What should I wear?

Semi-formal / Cocktail Attire for the ceremony and reception. It usually cools off at night, so consider packing a warm layer! We’ll be dancing!

May I take photographs during the ceremony?

Unplugged ceremony (no phones please)!

Is Uber a good way to get around?

Uber is not as readily available as you might find in other cities. We would recommend a rental car for the weekend, and if you would like to arrange rides, we recommend making an advanced reservation. We recommend: Tahoe Elite, Tahoe Thunder Taxi, Tahoe Sierra Transportation. There is also TART Connect for getting around Truckee which is free, a bit slower, and won’t drop off at the Ceremony/Reception Location
